This was the start of my build, a forgotten and unwanted AMF Scorcher frame

After much hair-pulling and gnashing of teeth it was pulled, stretched, bent, and begged in to the AMFer...

I'm not big on doo dads, but the hood ornament is actually one of my favorite parts of the bike.

Actually, I have decided that is NOT a doodad, since it came from one of the most iconic bikes ever, it has, by the test of time, become an actual bicycle part.
