I was just browsing in Farm and Fleet (a local farm and tractor store for you city folk) while having some tires put on the girlfriends car. You can do a lot of browsing in an hour and a half.

On the bright side, I stumbled upon these tool bags. I think they were on clearance for $20 or less! They are a little less than a foot long. Quality leather. I immediately thought of the many Ratty possibilities. Especially some pinstripes or metal. It includes a mounting strap and buckle. The strap is curiously long. I guess it would also make a lovely purse.

They have saddle bags also, but didn't think they were much of a bargain at $100 and $130.
