Another one...The Pie Bike

I posted some of the work from the beginning of this build...just can't remember where?

Found this cool old GI camp oven and figured out a way to strap it to an old cycle truck.
Fabricated a fresh steel shelf onto the CT frame, a fire box with a door for shoveling in coals, and a rear rack to hold the pie safe!

Work to do still...make the punched tin doors and sides on the pie safe and install locks...
Also, figure out a way to doll up the rather rough but original paint.
I have an idea...

Couple of shots of the pie safe.

I've been scattering posts of the builds I'm working on right now all around. It's because the bikes will form a fleet that will get used at events this summer...so they all kind of go together.
There's still enough interesting work to do on this bike to go ahead and give it it's own thread imho...

Stripped and getting to some cleaning...fresh whitewalls, de-rusting a bit. Grease...
And an interesting (I hope) solution to some rather funky paint damage around the head tube...I'm attempting to keep it mostly og/custom.
So, I painted some darts on in a darker shade of red. Almost ready to pull the tape
