ANOTHER sunburnt/rusty/fried Electra Hawaii 3

I got this sunburned Electra Hawaii 3 (2007 vintage) at yard sale today. The bike look to have been baking in a backyard for 5 years, but the nexus 3-speed worked awesome as I raced around the neighborhood. The one functional issue is that the kickstand is broken; just spins around in its frame mount- how do I fix?

Is it worth a Ulysses S Grant?

Electras are very well made. I would say if paint, some rust, and the kickstand are your only issues... certainly worth the $50 and more!

I picked up another Hawaii 3 cruiser, this one in green. It was sunburnt.. I thought wheels were white, but they are hyperfaded pink.

These are solid bikes, but the one cheapy aspect is the badges they adhese on the headtube and chainguard. both of my bikes had a basket that just destroyed the headbadge. You would think they would do a better job with them.

Maybe I should for go the entire rainbow.. red, pink, etc
