Any of You Guys Ever Use One of These?

I have an older mountain bike that takes a 21.1 quill stem and I would really love to have a 1-1/8 stem and 31.8 60mm rise fat bar on it, any of you guys ever try one of these stem adaptors? Seller claims it takes a 21.1 to run a 1-1/8 stem, around 15 bucks shipped, I've never used one before, seems a little sketchy but i'm hoping to hear a few "Yeah man those work great" or "I've been running one for years now with no issues" what do you guys think?

Never used one myself, but they seem pretty popular around here...
Can't see any reason why it wouldn't work...

They work fine, and they don't even look too out-of-place on the bike once they're installed. I don't run one, but i got friends who do. Installed a few on customer bikes in the distant past. The only possible drawback is that they tend to be much heavier than you might expect, which is a good thing b/c an underbuilt one might be more prone to break, and i doubt if a few extra oz will make a difference on "the old Huffy". I say, "go for it..."

For $15 it couldn't be much of a fence. Go for it.

After you buy one of these. Post us a picture of how they look on your bike. Maybe you can ride your bike over to that restaurant on the other side of the fence. I hear they have real good food over there. Too far to walk.
