My wife and kids had no idea for YEARS that I was skilled with a sewing machine. Now it’s a running joke but I still make them stuff when they need it

Curtains, clothes, tactical items, repairs, jorts

I have a partially finished set of bike packing bags made out of sail nylon that I need to complete one day

I kept it quite to for a while because like so many other skills she gets me to make her stuff. I have two machines one for leather and just a regular one and no I can't dig it out of my box pile for photos or I'll be making curtains (we moved recently) but it should make an appearance in the off road build off.

Ironically like bikes and cars it is the older sewing machines with metal gears etc that still can be great tools and used to be cheap to pick up. Laughing because I apparently have a radar for Toyotas bought a machine off gumtree.
