anybody else want a thruster?

I would like to have a thruster from Wal-mart, but I hate the red/yellow , yellow/red wheel & tire combo. I would trade a rim & tire with someone to get both tires and both rims the same color. I would prefer both rims to be yellow and both tires red. Anybody interested? Or, should I just buy two bikes and sell one after swapping the rims and tires? I didn't think of that at first. Hmmm :idea:

After looking at the Thruster some more , I don't think I want one after all. I need something with a few gears, and I hate fixies. I can use one of the many ten speed bikes in my collection as a start and build exactly what I want. I'll probably spend more than the cost of a Thruster , but it will be built for me.

you are way better off building your own. Thread a bmx freewheel onto a 10 speed wheel, get some nice 27x1 tires, and you'll have a better bike.

What I want is more like the Schwinn Admiral ladies model at WalMart. I can't believe that Schwinn doesn't make a mens model in the white red color combo.

Everytime I see one of those bikes around here the first thing that comes to mind is McDonalds. I'm sorry but they are fuuuugly. :mrgreen:
