Yeah yeah yeah, I know "rat rod" and scifi don't really go together. But has anyone done anything futuristic looking? I was thinking about doing something kinda Hitchhiker's Guide/Dr Who/Willy Wonka, ya know, kinda futuristic but all crazy looking.
Anyone do any scifi/science fiction bikes?

There are plenty of steampunk bikes floating around, I know theres been a few cat in the hat production bikes that look pretty funky too, I've always wanted to do a pinball bike for some reason myself using a lot of the sci-fi themed screen printing with a backglass sort of tank insert and some kind of "captive ball" EM pinball stuff for the details maybe. Got anything in mind ? I'm up for watching a scifi build .... oh and check out RRB member "fsjaak" in some of the earlier build offs ... they definitely come up with some scifi looking bicycle contraptions. RRB member "gaskill" also makes some great out of the box type stuff too !!!
I am wanting to do my Spaceliner in a Stargate theme if I had the money to do it right now, I would like to get some blue single or 3 speed wheels for it.
I'm calling it the Gateliner, I am thinking of getting some of those little Stargate drink coasters then put a light behind them to put on the front & in my rear rack that originally had one of those dome light.

Cool, I miss having new Stargate shows.
I still use the SGCSim every once & awhile, I originally used the name kngtmat but changed it a few times in some of the different Stargate forums I went to but some are gone now.

I'd love to do something Stargate themed on a bike...but other than doing a military bike (which I've already done), I can't think of anything. Trying to make something look like Goa'uld technology wouldn't look very good I think.
I have long considered doing a bike with a Sci-Fi flare to it. I've got a few sketches, but I haven't attempted anything yet. I'm picturing something retro-future, with fins and Jetson-like touches. Mo-Faux did a pretty great job of that.
