Thank you . I can’t wait to see the tank in metal cast purple. The tank did change my original fork though . It would have made it so I couldn’t turn the bike with out crushing the tank.

It's got a pushrod, so I'm thinking it's a Shimano multispeed hub, 3 or 7?

I couldn't even see it til you mentioned it...and barely at that. Sturmey 3spd drum brake! ...maybe...

I suppose it could be Shimano roller brake linkage on the other side, but it looks like Sturmey drum linkage to me.

Sachs 7 speed, that's a cool set up with the drum brake! You should really be able to cover some ground with that drive train.
Tons of work done on this, it was a good day! And I heard 'purple metalcast' mentioned above..... Looks like there will be a few of us 'shiny' guys this build off.

Parts out of the Evaporust. Evaporust works great on Cad plated parts . The tank came out so well it’s almost to nice to paint. It’s the wrong color for my purposes though . But I think I’m going to leave the white paint as it is for patina.

Good call on leaving the patina’d white with the new purple. When you find the right shade of purple, you might need to hit it with satin clear to keep it from being too shiny.

This has worked well for me in the past.

Thank you . It’s purple that’s the main reason I’m building this bike . You just don’t see many purple 26” Men’s bikes .

To cold to work out side today as snowed here a bit this morning in Mass. So time do some parts gattering & ideas in the work shop. I have been using my Socially Distancing time to put things in order as you can see I still have a ways to go but I’m heading in the right direction.

Nice one! How old is it? I still have an Sram T3/Sach Torpedo hub lying around somewhere.

Even though you are competition in class 1, I have to admit that youre build is pretty sweet!
