On my local Craigslist, someone is selling a couple of kids Electras (a Straight 8 and a Rockabilly Boogie). I need another bike like I need a hole in my head, but I cant help but wonder what it would look like or ride like. Those 20" Fattie-O tires look so sick on those little bikes and I figure a jacked up nanner seat and some tall apes would make one of these adult friendly. Anybody done this?

yep

Boy loves it. For adult you will need a longer seat post. He needs a taller one already.

Where is this Rockabilly? been wanting one for him ever since I got mine.

I think the guy selling all of those is a member here.

I remember him posting his collection of 20" Electra bikes at one time.

I've also got a 20" Rockabilly Boogie that I'm wanting to sell.

That looks cool! This gives me a better idea of the bike's scale. The frame looks longer and lower than your typical 60s muscle bike, so I'd need one heckova seat post to work for me. It might be a pipe dream for someone my height (6'1"). I might just need to keep waiting for the right deal on an adult sized Straight 8, Rockabilly, or Rat Fink. I miss my 2004 RF, but I prefer the look of the fat front tire on the newer models.

These bikes are in Austin, TX in case you want to look them up on craigslist.

That has to be him because he has been posting several 20" bikes on CL. I think maybe he has some other 60s muscle bikes for sale.

at 6'1" wait for an adult model. These are small. He's over 5' and it's prolly too small but he loves it.
