I got this Huffy mountain bike for free a while back to use for parts, but after finding a nice gravel trail close to home that Mom and I both like last year, I decided to fix up this Huffy so Mom could have something to ride too. Plus, it was about the only freebie mountain bike I had that wasn't
completely worn out. I'm not doing anything crazy with this one, just maintenance and tuning. Hopefully this will be a quick and easy project, but we'll see.
Minor update, but while Mom and I were out shopping at Target yesterday, I saw that they had all their bike tires and a bunch of other stuff on clearance. Mom got 2 hybrid bike tires for her bike and I got 2 balloon cruiser bike tires plus the last hybrid bike tire for mine. We thought it would be $13.49 per tire as the label suggested, but it turned out the tires were discounted to
$8 per tire! SCORE! I bought 3 tires for just a little over $25 after tax. Best way to use a Christmas
gift card I've had in a while. I'm going to try and run by the other Targets around town today and see if I can find at least one more hybrid tire on sale so I have a complete set of my own.
Once I finish working on
Belle, I'll start work on Mom's bike.
