I recently aquired a bike via my wifes Grandmother, it is a Schwinn and I have discovered via the serial number (R16742) that it was built in April of 1955, what I don't know is what the model is or what it may have originally looked like. I know it was purchased at a garage sale by her Grandfather probably in the early 70's, it had been painted a dark green, no fenders, no chain guard, and handle bars that look to be from a sting ray or something simular. If anyone can help me with pics that would be great. I would like to take this back to looking as close to original as possible. Thanks.
