I pretty much only ride on the tops of the drop bars.I like that kind of curve, they look cool and I like the feel for steering if they are wide enough, but my neck won’t let me ride like that for long anymore.
Sounds like you'd do better with just a set of cut-down flat bars.I pretty much only ride on the tops of the drop bars.
Why would you run drop bars if you don't use the drops?I pretty much only ride on the tops of the drop bars.
I also like to ride on the brake lever hoods. Why would you run drop bars if you don't use the drops?
I do have a bike with those but I like the drop bars better because I rest my hands on the tops of the handlebars and the hoods of the brake levers.Sounds like you'd do better with just a set of cut-down flat bars.
I have. I like the homemade ones made from upturned drop bars better than the ones that you can buy.Have you considered bullhorn bars? You get the top positions, and there is less bar to tape
Those look really comfortable but I doubt I would use that kind of bar on my mountain bike where I ride more technical stuff.Just saw these guys. @Grant might be fun for your trek
