Perfect, thanks! I can look for a head badge now.The black one is an AMF from the mid 50's.
That's very interesting, I hadn't compared the 2 like that but the resemblance is pretty clear. The rear facing dropouts on the gray one got me confused on the vintage. So it's maybe late 40s early 50s? I'm still getting to know these old bikes, but I do love them. Thanks! As @Wildcat said, this is an AMF era frame...derived from the CWC design.

Compare the rear triangle and belly from the black frame with the gray Shelby....

...and you can see it is a slightly earlier (probably AMF era) frame with CWC DNA.
Both postwar.
Dude, your man cave is sweet!!Darn it. I should have gone a bit slower on this one and entered…View attachment 210801
They do. Apparently the black one is a 54.The gray one looks just like a late 40's early 50's CWC, except for the lower top bar. The AMF black bike should have a serial number on the BB that will give the year. I'm not sure on the gray Shelby.
Thanks!The Red Shelby should be a '47… I believe.

AAAHHHHHH!!! I so want to build another bike....well....2 other bikes. I LITERALLY have nowhere to put another one. This new place is tiny. I wanted a muscle bike and a skinny tire bike. I just can't.....well....maybe if I......
I have often modified one of my existing bikes into another class, even if only temporarily. Or you could build it to sell or flip an existing one... You got choices.AAAHHHHHH!!!
