You bought a sweet machine alrighty.

I sold that exact wheel set a few weeks back for $200.

Not sure why, but everyone of these I have seen have been tall frames.

BTW...the one I had was an 85 model.

Here's what it looked like after I swapped wheels. I sold it like this for $150.

Thanks for the great pixs! I was looking for a cool frame to add a set of Grateful Dead decals I purchased a few years ago. Here is a link of the Grateful Dead Fisher bike...

i sold mine somewhat like yous' guyses, Mine had a broken dropout, paid $40, sold it for $100 in pieces

Mine's an early 90's version w/vertical dropouts, straight black bar, 2-lever shifters, and biopace rings, otherwise nearly identical. It's a great bike, tough as nails, goes almost anywhere. No way would I even consider losing the gears or front brake.

Yeah thats a pretty sought after wheelset.26''Pro Class wheels.They also came in 20'' and 24''.Im building a 24'' cruiser on one of my next builds and Im gonna make a set of them myself.All they are is Araya 7x hoops that have been drilled and a rimstrip added to fill the holes.But man only $20 bucks you scored for sure!!

You paid about a 10th of what that's worth. To pick up an equivalent NEW bike/rack+cages, $500.oo-$700.oo.

Great bike. Sell off the wheels and throw some other MTB alloys on there.

If you decide to let go of the frameset, I am interested. I have been casually looking for one of those.

I just finished cleaning the wheels and frame. This thing will be a beauty. It looks like it even has one of the original gold rim strips. Now it just needs to stop raining so I can ride it....

I have one in the project row, and yes its a tall frame, just curious if anyone knows if these decals are available ?
