Got a whole mostly new frame building shop a couple months back, finally had some time to begin my education on how to use the tools I acquired. Figured I practice by making some Redline Squareback 26 tribute bikes. Had enough material for 5 diamond frames and plan on doing 4 with twin down tubes.

Once you get things set up, it is easy to make 5 or 10 of the same thing, so why not? I need all the practice I can get. :)

Seat stays, once illusive and very catiwaumpos, now, not so hard.

Whole place is going down the tubes...

Horizontal mill with Anvil tubing fixture makes keeping the miters 90 degrees a snap!

first one tack welded together. Going to make the 74-75 gusset for them too. Figure it will take a month or so for me to finish them all.

I have an anvil bender for the stays and I have some cheapo ebay bender I used for my forks, works good. :)

Looking good!

I notice you are still using Flickr, did you get an email recently?

You and me might be the only ones with more than 1000 pics on Flickr, I'm working on downloading them all and then direct uploading to RRB over the coming months before the deadline...

yeah I got that, meh don't care that much. bye bye photos, I'll find another way or stop posting things.

Back at it now after getting a cargo bike project off my plate for a time. I had enough metal for four Champion/Redline twin down tube type bikes so I got around to getting them going.

Doing a little mitering of tubes...

Got one in the fixture, down tubes need a little adjustment...coming together though.

Expensive tools sure to help me move away from years of backyard bike hacking, made lots of cool bikes that way though. :)
