I posted pics of a similar bike a few weeks ago. I really liked that bike, but the frame was a little too big for me, and a guy made me an offer I couldn't refuse (my first profit from a bike  and I got to keep the whitewalls and bars).

I found this 1970-72 model Speedwell at the dump shop and it fits me better. The top tube is slightly longer than the previous frame I had as well, so it has a longer wheelbase. The frame has the expected scrapes and chips of a 35+ year old bike, but looks great from 10 feet away.
My awesome LBS finally sourced some 26" alloy coaster wheels, so I fitted one, pulled off the fenders and chainguard (used the "Armstrong" method again on the chainstays), changed the fork and bars, fitted some black glitter grips, and that's it.

Rides real nice.

Thanks roadmaster.
My initial plans for this frame were to replace the top tube with a camelback type, cut down the seat tube, and maybe add an extra tube. I'm enjoying it as it is at the moment though, so I'm still undecided.
There's also not many of these Aussie built bikes around anymore (most of them would be landfill), so maybe I will leave the frame as is.
