Do you think you might have the time and materials to widen the square fender?I am having trouble picking a fender that works
the squared one looks to narrow the rounded one doesn't fit right either
and i can not work on the most of the sheetmetal work because it needs to be attached to the fender
Fortunately there is one more cycle swap to look for fanders at
the rest of the time I have been working on a seat post
but most ideas are not working out quite right
Do you think you might have the time and materials to widen the square fender?
I know welding that thin of metal sucks, but it might be an option. Infeasible, but an option.

You might could use the pulley mount on the seat post for mounting a tail light /reflector or what ever.
