I never really thought about it till my boss who welded it for me pointed it out but I've never seen a dedicated trike that didn't have a step through frame aka girl's frames. I have seen a few bolt on trike kits installed on men's frames but still not often. I know it's easier to throw a leg over but structurally men's frames are stronger and look better.

Of course having a men’s-style frame will make it harder to get on and off. I think the big thing is you wanna be able to lock the brakes on the trike. Of course you don’t it want to just roll away.

BUT You don’t want it to move while you’re getting on and off. The bigger and heavier you make it the more important this will be.

This one has a coaster brake but I plan to add a disk brake directly on the axle in case of chain failure. Learned that lesson going down a large hill on my cargo trike with a full load lost the chain and had to ditch in a bush. Really scary experience

Have you tried to fit the Woreksman front wheel to see what it looks like, they are 26", or at least mine is, I have the same trike. 32 does look good, I have the same trike..........Curt

I thought about it but it's the simple and safe option which I try to get away from because it doesn't turn heads or get noticed. I kinda like the 32 just for the wow factor of it. I also have a 20x3 that would be cool too but would need a super long fork and wouldn't perform well. The 32 would roll over large obstacles with ease and balances well with the huge 24x4's. I could lace that hub into the 32 inch rim but that's a whole lot of work I really don't want to do.

I have a bunch of photographs I took from the motorcycle museum down in Solvang. I’ll have to have a look through those too, and I will post up some interesting stuff for sure.

Heh Heh… Actually I bought one of those 32 inch wheels for my trike project last year. But I didn’t get to work on it yet.
I actually found the first one at the local scrapyard that was complete but has some really crunchy bearings so I bought another one on marketplace for parts to fix it. Always wondered how they ride and I didn't really care for it as much as I thought I would.

Yes it would, but then finding a fork, the would go with the old frame. I would extend the Worksman fork, or a old wide 50"s fork, but I have the tools to do it. The newer tube fork may not look to bad on there..........Curt

I ordered a fully adjustable triple tree fork for it and I think it will fit the look I'm going for.

If you look the seat on the Genesis is forward and down, I set on one at Wall-fart and didn't seem to bad, but me and new style, ug, as just a old fart that like the old 50's - 60's.

Mine is from a Kent Big League cruiser. While I could maybe barely ride it, it really was out of my league.

Looking good! For the front wheel and tire, I'd get the triple tree fork on the trike first, mount the tubes and tires on the rear wheels, maybe install a seat, then mock up your front wheel and tire options. That way, you have a better idea of the stance and ride height of the final trike. I'm excited to see the final product!

I wasn’t quite following the vision at first. Honestly, I was kind of questioning the point. However, after those most recent photos I get it. Wow! Looks bad ...! (I didn’t know this site censored “bad words” Come on, what century is this?)
