Hey Paul, Just wandering what kind of roll bender do you use?

I use a Harbor Freight roller bender and I also have a HF hydraulic bender. Each have their own use.

These bikes probably look bichen going down the street together. But really you should have the same gearing as your wife. Youll get alot better cardio with a single speed and still look cool as helll.

Both of these have a Nexus 7 speed and the wife's has a nexus 3 speed. She didn't want a 7...go figure. I seem to get a pretty good work out even with lots of gears. With all the wind we have had lately if I didn't have gear choices I might have to walk my bike home.

I always wandered how well the HF roll bender worked. The price is right!

Yeah and sometimes they run them on sale with a coupon. I like mine and have used it on most of my builds.
If you go to youtube, they have a video on how they bend stuff.

Did u ever think of selling those rear ends? Or other need bike parts.
I'm thinkin' maybe some 3" wide monark style springer front section forks [ so we can run 3" wide on a Monark springer  ] or how about some cool tall sissy bars

im only 16, i wish i could afford tools like you guy have to work with..
i have barely any funds half the time, i rely on good finds and parting out them just to fund my hobby
soon..
hope i can get a summer job at a bike shop or something get some funding
but won't be able to afford things like what you guys come up with..
that loop tail looks killer man im really digging it :D

Outsider trust me if I could produce a really nice front end cheap , I would have built one.

Ivan I understand youth. Wish I had it back again. Tools are accumulated over the years . Kinda like money...you have none when your young and as you get older and work hard you hopefully will get some. You should read the interview with John Brain. He was really young and built lots of cool looking bikes with very few tools or money. It can be done if you try. Glad you like this build.

How about the front part with the springs , because the back fork is wide enough for a 3" tire its the part with the springs thats too narrow

I can bend one out of 1'' tubing , but the smallest I can bend makes the legs 5 1/4'' wide It would be a wide fork. Its almost too wide on the looptail. I may try to slice out an inch , but not sure that would be good to do on a fork.
