A guy offered me one of these in Carlisle last fall . It was 75.00. It had a few little areas where the lacing was loose. Now I wish I had purchased it. Just for the heck of it.

I think these are only desirable by decorators and people on Giligan's Island. There is a legit company (Panda Bikes) that makes legit bamboo bikes, this bike looks to me to just be a bike wrapped with wicker. If people are seriously getting more than $100 for a crappy old 3 speed bike with vines on it, then I'm going to start wrapping bikes and flipping them.

Thousands? haha, sure. Maybe people are asking that, but I don't believe they are getting it.

several years ago (maybe 10-12) christmas tree shops sold a "bamboo bike", looked just like this.
