Barn fresh finds. 5 bikes $200. Beautiful Spaceliner

Craigslist score. This Older lady posted these 5 bikes for $200. She said she had tons of Interest within a day of posting but no one could met until the weekend due to the ice storm. Since she was just the next town over it wasn't to hard to go pick them up in the trucks.

The Spaceliner is really the only one worth wild, but the others are great for parts. Two of the bikes have nice lightning dart whitewalls!

Just when you think you're getting low on projects....boom.

Remember, normal people like Dr. T and the rest of us have REAL jobs and can't spend the day refreshing Craigslist. And yet, I still end up texting you the link to the 20" balloon tanker that is just a half hour away from you....

Also what model Spaceliner? AMC VIII? Haven't heard of that one.

Nice and the Tanklight Spaceliner is actually a Murray built copy of the Sears Spaceliner. "AMC VIII" is one I haven't seen before.
The dash knobs look like the ones found on the Flying O or a Western Flyer Strato Flyer. The knobs are different styles on these Spaceliner styled variations. The Spaceliner for example has round radio style knobs.
My Astro Flites have bulbous round knobs.

What does the top of the tanklight bezel decal say?

And to get the bike with the ever elusive hard to find blinking tail dome light is the best find ever.
All for $200 is a great deal....nice pic for sure. The Murray tanklight alone is well worth that price.

I picked up this AMC VI girls bike last year. It's not nearly as deluxe as your AMC VIII.
You can't see it in the picture, but the chrome was rusted away in the same spot on the rear fender.

Cool haul, I haven't seen an AMC badged 'liner before. AMC was one of those smaller mid 60s badges, must have been associated with a store. Does that burgandy and red Murray still have the OG Carlisle Lightning Dart tires? -Adam

Major score! Those aren't even repops, they were the last ones made in the OG molds in the early 80s. Those molds still exist, and bike fiends have been bugging them for years to make more, but they're not interested apparently. -Adam
