Found a guy thining his collection on craigslist either for sale individually at a higher price or altogether
i figured it was a better deal to get them all since 2 would have cost the same as getting all six
top row - Mercury strato line, prewar ladies with teardrop chain guard
mid row - 24" Schwinn, 1950's huffy/Huffman
Bottom row -50's Higgins, prewar motorbike?
I mainly went to see the Huffy and it turned out to be the style of huffy frame that has the narrow rear wheel spacing and the flush seat tube (with goose neck style seat post) that the huffy Radiobike used
this is what i had been looking for in order to do a Radio Flyer themed bike
The other frame that caught my attention was the prewar motorbike frame i believe it may be an Elgin (has vertical badge bolts holes as opposed to horizontal) but would like input on what brand it may be also if its a 26" or 28" (i don't have much experience on how to tell)
Here is why i wanted the motorbike frame
almost enough room to fit 24x3 tires using a set of prewar 24" skiptooth wheels i have (I only need to widen the bottom bars)
And this gnarly frame "fix" witch means i can actually widen the rear without felling guilty about altering such an old frame :
now i just need the tool box tank and front truss forks
