bearing bearer BMX

Hi folks!
Finding the right bearings for a 1piece crank isn't that easy in the town that I live in.
Yesterday I asked at four bicycle stores, today I had to visit another three. The last one was one of these backyard-garages with huge piles of bike stuff where no one would ever know where to find anything.
Well, at least he had the right bearings:

Had to pay 10€ for the bearings or 5€ if I took the complete bike so he would get rid of it.
So I took the BMX for 5€ (which is aproximatly 7$) and this afternoon I will transplant the bearings into my ratrod bike (still too cold here in Germany to start with the paintjob for my Duo-Ma-Tiki).

My son would go ballistic over that BMX frame..Now if you were my neighbor you could have walked over to get some bearings and saved some agravation .....But then you wouldn't have that BMX frame :wink:

and if I would at least live on the same continent as you, your son could have that frame. I'm not that much into BMX.
But since I don't and a freind of mine is totally apes**t about all that 80s stuff, I guess I might rebuild it in a few weeks und give it to him.
