Kinda funny, the more I look at Selle classic saddles, the more I have to wonder if they branded one of theirs with Brooks branding after they bought Brooks in 2003 or at some point along the way.

I've never seen a Brooks like that before. I'm going to share those pics elsewhere. I know some guys there swear by Selle and Brooks, and they're really into the history and details of the stuff. They might be able to dig up some info for ya...

When I sold my 63 Chevy II back on 2001, I sold the 350 as well as the front/mid sump pan I had acquired for the 6 to V8 conversion.

That was the car I had when the wife and I went on our first date back in 1991. She realllly disliked that car. She still dislikes it, and I haven't had it for more than twenty years.

I'm in Seattle and in the 80/90s there was a locally produced skit comedy show that came on following Saturday Night Live. It focused on Seattle humor. The Ballad neighborhood is where old Scandinavians and their parents live and the most common vehicles are Chevy II and Falcon and Valiant and Dart and Lark and Rambler. All with the driver wearing a fedora hat with his dog riding shotgun and the driver's side seat belt dragging on the ground.
