These are the before pics of a Pastime bike I found a month ago. It is made by the CCM company, maybe pre WW11. I cannot find a serial number on it. The bike is in as found condition witht the exception of a kick stand. It has 28" tires or what is left of them. The paint is original and will stay that way. I have not washed it yet, There is a ton of grease and oil on it. I decided it would be the coolest Beer Pickup Bike around.
I bought these whitewall tires today at a local bike guys place and replaced the old ones. The tires are road bike tires but look cool and are the Canadian size 28"(700c). If I can get a pair of black ones I will go back that way. I am not too happy with the whitewalls. The strap basket is one that has been sitting in storrage for a few years now. It is from the same era as the bike. (I have 3 of these baskets)On the rear is a strap carrier that I added an old and rusty milk carrier. It is co cool on this bike. It would hold 8 King Cans of Beer. I have not tried but the front should hold a case of 24 cans of beer. Tomorrow I will get a few better pictures of it.
