Fresh finds:

Marin Stinson 2. Surely named after Stinson Beach in Marin County. Been there. The Pacific ocean water is too cold to even wade in. 27.5" 1x9 discs. Size small frame. Looks like a big bike but fits small. Rides very nice. The fine density knobs tire tread is perfect for collecting scores of small rocks. Some dental picks and 30 minutes may get them looking better. But how long would that last. MSRP $699.

Nishiki Cascade. mountain bike. Aluminum frame. I sold this bike in 2018 and it came back via a different owner. Serial numbers match in my records. Middle sprocket bent. Rear der bent. Missing tires and grips. Tuned and ready to roll. One of Nishiki's better mountain bikes.

More of the tools:

steel file handle
1921 basin wrench by Andee Wrench
Morrill's saw set (for setting the angles of saw blade teeth)
Williams lathe wrench
heap of bike tools for way too cheap.
general tools.
cycle pro truing stand .
also not photographed, a vintage Work Mate. I like the older modes because the feet don't stick out so far and are much easier to fold up.

I'm headed to the Brazen Dropouts swap meet in Madison Wisconsin next month. The largest swap meet in the midwest. I'll take what I don't want to keep. After that I'll put some of it on ebay.

stale unfinds: bikes dismantle, parted out, recycled. Making some room.

The black sidewalk bike was painted over. I could read CMX on the chainguard. Semi pneumatic tires, mismatched wheels. Pedals are the nut type. A nut behind the unthreaded crank to hold the pedals on.

Firestone Miss GTO by Huffy.

Mongoose Racer X. 16" bike that outweighs most 5 year old children. Gnarly wheels. Looks like a Rolf design.

Norco (Canadian brand).

Pacific Evolution needed way too much work to revive.

Rallye Splash. Rims will be used for an art project.

Electra Townie in pretty good shape. A bit of dust and a bent up chain guard.

Bonus photos of customers bikes.

Huffy Nitrous. Customer came in to get a front fender, rear brake cable and a supply of brake pads.

Gary Fisher Montare with a Rock Shox Quadra 21R fork with a cracked through fork. My guess is that is magnesium.
