OOOOH! AAAHHHH! Join us for peak leaf peeping in the beautiful Berkshires of Western MA! Saturday, October 7th, we will ride on the Ashuwillticook Rail Trail with fantastic views of Mt. Greylock. Stops for food & drink include AJs Sports Pub, Bass Water Grill, Arizona Pizza & the Brookhause Sports Pub. Depending on time and hunger level, the day can end with dinner at local restaurant/pub in Lanesboro or Pittsfield MA.

Directions to Parking (Google: "Farnams Road, Cheshire MA"):
If driving up Rt 8 NORTH from Pittsfield, Farnams Road is a LEFT turn 3.5 miles AFTER the Berkshire Mall

Sounds great but I can't commit. That's the last weekend of Fall Festival camping,
Sunday is pack up and "Get Out" day, and
an afternoon of unloading all that crap back in to the basement for winter storage.

The COOLEST bike shop in Berkshire County - Berkshire Outfitters - has invited us to stop by their shop during our ride for free air and Jelly Bellies! Hopefully a few of their employees and friends will be joining the ride too!

Thanks for the pics, Stevil. The last time we rode that trail, I remember getting extremely angry, because people weren't picking up after their dogs......until I rode another half mile and came across a flock of Canadian geese that would not move from the path.....Geese crap like dogs!

For those of you who missed it, this was well worth the drive here. Beautiful scenery, awesome bike trail ...a new guy..and it doesn't need mentioning the host/ hostess extraordinaire. Awesome mountain and water views and plenty of stops along the way for refreshment. I think we should do this ride again next year and hopefully more people can show up. A BIG THANK YOU to Kimmy and Matt for hosting this ride. It was a good time... well its always a good time when Kimmy's there
