Best day to sell on CL

I was just wondering if anybody had noticed a best day for selling bikes on CL.I thought it would be Sat. but I put 2 bikes up yesterday morning (sat)and thought they would go fairly quick.I had a couple of calls and a couple of e-mails but nothing solid . I woke up this morning had emails and the phone kept ringing. I had both sold by 10:00 am. Perhaps everyone is too busy on Sat. and Sun. morn is thier downtime. Just wondering if anyone else has had the same experience. Oh BTW It wasnt Hellbilly or the Kilted Hawg that was sold. :wink:

I usually stay up late on saturday and try to get the first post on Sunday. Usually the bikes I list like that are gone by lunch on Sunday.

ha my craigslist is so slow the stuff I listed 3 weeks ago is on the first page yet!

Friday morning has been working well for me. I get a lot of responses around lunchtime from people surfing CL on their lunch hour at work, and then again later in the afternoon near quitting time. A lot of folks are paid on Friday and are free on the weekend to come over and buy.

If it's very far from my house, it would have to be the weekend regardless of when the inital contact is made. Friday evening's probably as good a time as any to run the ad.
