Welcome to the forum! From the dropouts it looks to be post war to me, but I'm not too familiar with these models. Some of the other guys are though. Great bike!

That bike was made by Schwinn for BF Goodrich, in 1947 going by the "C" at the beginning of the 5 digit serial number.
