I think it is a great idea. ATV's are feeling the pressure as more land is locked up to motorized vehicles. I agree with this write up of these bikes. Hopfefully the price is not on par with the Surly's or Salsa.

Let’s face it, bicycling is too often viewed in connection with people that live in cities. Cogburn could be the first brand that is targeting potential rural cyclists that don’t live in cities and have no interest in the bike as transportation, but could use it in conjunction with other activities. It is taking the bicycle to previously uncharted and vast waters.

Used to use my GT MTB with an ATV handlebar bow rack for elk, could cover a lot of distance to get closer to near where I had to go. Unfortunately bikes are classified the same as motor vehicles for Wilderness areas, thank you See-Air-Uh Club and face the same restrictions now that they are trying to get virtually all national forest converted to Wilderness status, or even "Managed as Wilderness" for recommended areas.

The national forest area I used to hunt years ago. You could only take bikes on marked trails anyways. As for where I live now they do restrict access to some areas but its to motorized vehicles only.

They released the price of them, their only 2200 dollars. Their cool and everything but think Ill just go order some camo vinyl and deck out a run of the mill mountain bike.

I'd put some orange on that bike before taking it to the hunt club. I otherwise love the idea.
