I have stripped one of them a lot more to see what it looks like...hard work by hand using wire wool!! :headbang:

Liking how it looks though, just need to leave them outdoors to age a little.

Any tips on what to cover them in to aid the rust process?

I don't really have a proper workshop, or I might well have tried that. Have looked online and genuine tractor seats are a fortune.

There was a guy who used to post on a U.K. Custom Motorcycle forum did a nice Fibreglass replica of a vintage tractor seat but I can't find a contact anywhere now.

Only thing is I wouldn't know where to start making my own :(:arghh:
I know I'm going on about the tracter seat but I was looking and I've found a company that do them for drift trikes http://modernlinedrifttrikes.com/tractor-style-seat/
I think there only about 30 quid

Keep up the good work
I can't wait to see how it looks wen it's finished :)
