Bike Bug motor kit

Does anyone have any info or reviews on these motors? I've found a good used complete front mounted one for $100 & am thinking of picking it up. Thanks in advance. Mike

Yes a guy in Houston named Mike did an article on rebuilding them sometime back---great motors.I recall he used a rollerskate wheel as a replacement roller.

Thanks so much for the info. Gonna go check it out in a bit. Wonder if the company owner wrote that article. His name is also Mike and the company is based in Houston. Any idea where I can find this write-up?

Well, I went ahead & picked it up. I have a late 50's early 60's Murray middleweight I've been thinking of slapping together, and this would be perfect for it. I'll post a build thread once I start on it.
