My wife was in my shop the other day and saw a Bratz bike I just picked up for $10.
She liked the purple (Her favorite color) velvet seat and thought it it was cool.
Have been wanting to build one for her so now have a start, one purple seat and a sissy bar but that is all the ideas I have so far.
Can I see some bikes others have built for their spouses?

Funny our Daughters had the same frame. Mine moved out of state so we sold the bike and now she's moved back.

My Daughters wasn't a left side drive though

The thread is on here under the build section as "Unidentified Cruiser for My Wife"

And this is The Pearl. I used a pearl clear on the white. The fenders were an experiment. I got some cool pirate fabric and glued them to the fenders. I sprayed a waterproof (and uv resistant) clear over that, but Gabbie left the bike outside all the time, so the fabric faded anyway.

Thanks for all the examples. I started the build calling it Brenda Star but really do not have a clear idea of how I want it to look. I think this is going to be a one step at a time build.

why don't you just ask her what she likes? show her some bikes on here. Or... what kind of cars does she like, favorite tv show, nostalgic for a certain era? a purple bike with a velvet seat? that make me think of Bootsy Collins - I'd make myself a Funk Mobile :p

Here's the bike I made this for myself...

Ask???,that would be to easy. She knows I am building her something but I still would like it to be a little bit of a surprise when finished.
