I contemplated trying to build one out of PVC over the summer but never did. If I ever decide to your link should make it easier than the trial and error I would have used.

Other than pvc, I will made me one out of abs. abs just seem to be more durability.

I did see this on a search. I was thinking more like having the tees ID enlarged so that they can slide horizontally.Have more verticals with tees,and drill holes in the horizontals to pin the tees in position as needed.
