My 28 year old neice wanted me to get her a bike so she could ride w/ her mom.Price was an issue, so it needed to be built on the cheap.
I found a 70s girls street bike, badged Firestone. It was a 3 speed but I kept that wheel for a future project and put on a single speed that I already had.
Paid 30.00 on CL. The only other cost was the paint, studs and a couple of stickers. The weather around here has made it almost impossible to paint, rain every other day for the last 2 weeks and now its clear but cold.Yes that is the Black and tan bike in the foreground that I sold to my bro. The weekend he was supposed to pick it up he had to go in the hospital for some heart proplems. All is well with him but it looks like I will be safeguarding his bike a little longer.
