Picked up a Schwinn SSX from Cl for 100 bucks, converted coaster brake to a freewheel because the coaster brake made too much noise, put on weinman brake levers I had lying around, had an extra seat, flipped the handlebars, added fenders, black bow pedals, an old chain guard and put a black bullet light on.

Love those classic full fenders. 8) Truing/tensioning those wheels would annoy me no end :roll: , but I guess with that many spokes, they probably don't move much. :? If you stick a card in the wheel, does it sound like a 2-cycle? :lol:

hey guys,
heres my black (and red!) 07 electra rat rod.
i know im not done, but i have been able to add some things. ive added my lights, cup holder, ape hangers, RRB decal, painted my chain, removed my headbadge, removed chain gaurd badge, and added pyramid studs to the seat and cup holder.
i still need new grips and a new fork. any other ideas please share. thanks.

i like the bike with this wheel & tire set up

this wheel set up is dangerous even with the front brakes...black squirrel?
