OK, I do have a black bike after all, although it is only temperary, I think.
My Phantom of the Opera bike. I called myself the "Black Phantom of the Opera", some Schwinn parts were used in the construction of the bike, but no Black Phantom parts were used, they are Schwinn Breeze parts. See Halloweelie in Events.

And, yes I played it. The, bike is covered in black fabric, the pipe organ is cardboard, wrapping paper tubes, posterboard tubes, wooden candles and candleabra, black roses, spiders, and mice, with an electric keyboard using batteries.
It cruized nicely considering it was 40 inches wide and 6 feet tall, and weighs around 90 pounds. The bike is my 8 feet 6 inches long aluminium honeycomb composite bike I call the Alumasled, I rode it about 17 or 18 miles total as the Phantom. I rode and played this bike 2 nights, the Coasters BC Thursday night pub pedal with Halloween theme and Friday night for Halloween. I even won a little prize money for best costume at the GoAway Garage, it paid for the contact cement and the paint anyway...Had a Blast.

heres my latest score. I had a thought I havent had in a long time (if ever) is to leave the bike stock!! lets see how long that thought will last.

My black bike. I got it from the friend in the pic for $25 (what he paid) plus a set of Phantom Decals. Nice guy, huh? :) It's a 1939 or '40 Schwinn wearing a Speedway badge from Louisville Cycle Supply, Louisville, KY. B607

My Firmstrong Chief, Nexus 3 speed, Bendix shifter, Schwinn grips, Electra fenders, headlight and Louis Vuitton strap.

Hey FaceOFF,
Where did you get those bars? They might be the kind I've been looking for. Can you show a pic of your bike from the front?
Thanks! B607
