Picked up this bike that I have had my eye on for a while. The google box brings up nothing so let me know your thoughts. Says Black Knight West Germany. Any information would be sweet.

Cheers

I think Union was the parent company, they made pedals for Schwinn too. Royce Union was their main badge, but there were others like Kent, President, etc. And they either sold frames, or their old tooling to Rapido, or the company that made them in Czeckoso-whatchamacallit! -Adam

I had a dream last night that I was driving out in the desert and spotted a huge pile of old bike frames and parts out in the middle of no where. I don't know how rare the Black Knight is, but I found a Black Knight tank in the pile

I'm certainly no historian, but it has enough cool about it to say don't touch it. It was probably some rich kid's Christmas present in the 50s.

Cool bike. I just picked one of these up myself. I have also been trying to find out information on it. I did find out, just today, that it is a German World War 2 bicycle that the foot soldiers used. There were actually guns mounted to the bicycle. I wasn't able to get a value on it as it is that rare. Not sure how to post a pic.
