The plan is to build the ultimate Urban Assault Vehicle. Skipton and I came up with a 50/50 plan, that worked out for both of us.We bought this:

Skipton got the cool-guy 700 deep V wheels and 2 different color tires and I got the rest.

Unwrapped, and minus about a dozen decals, it's green, very green. 27 x 1 1/4 in back and a 26 x 1 3/8 in front, for the shake down ride. The frame is some alloy material, nice and light. I'm digging the fork and rear drop-outs. It's a 52 cm frame so it a little taller than expected, The plan is to get some 26 inch wheels in it. So after the shake down ride it went back to the bench.

This badge is crooked, it's gonna go away too.

Fork clearance with the 26 x 1 3/8,still plenty of room left. Mocked up with 26's next time.

These white-walls have seen better days,

A few coats of some leather dye and ready to mount on the back.

After mounting the tire and getting it on the frame, ran into an issue. The wheel was so out of round it hit the chain stays on both sides. I tried truing it but that didn't go as planned. The spoke nipples were at the top of the threads and the wheel wasn't straight yet. Ratina's Dad was nice enough to help me out, and got front and rear round and true, Thanks Bob.

Brakes for 700 wheels won't reach.

Made parts to a really complicated temporary brake solution.

They get you stopped.Front tire is 26 x 1.95 knobby shaved down,

Plenty more room, this is 26 x 2.125

There it sits, shopping for hubs, and groupo. more soon.

I like that on the 26's ! how about coaster brake and no levers / pads would be very clean looking.
