BMX question

I don't know much about BMX bikes and don't want to get stuck owning one.

Is this worth $45? It looks clean and shiny, but so are most Walmart bikes.

If its as clean as it looks all over, you should have no trouble clearing double that, whole or in parts. A decent used one should bring at least $150, that one looks better than decent, so maybe a little more. GT mags should be good for $100 by themselves. Just looking at the parts I'd say $150 is the low end. I don't think they were all chrome either, so that is a plus.
