Boardtracker "X" build

This is more like an assembly than a build, although I am making some Merkel style forks (under construction in the pictures) and I'll make a seat bracket similar to the one on my Mini machine build. The frame and tank are by Fire bikes. I'm not to sure about the handlebars and the stem goes on the Mini machine.

I love it , it looks just like an old Merkel motorcycle. Did you build the frame, or did merkel make bicycles?

I agree with sensor, you should have put the motor in this one. The tires look good with the dark wheels.

I made some progress today on the fork. Now i need to grind down all the welds, strip the old paint and then prep and repaint. I think this combo of stem and handlebar looks better than the first shot.

Another mock-up of the fork. Now some filler, primer and then paint. Oh, and I need to give the top plate the same shape as the fork crown.

Very ingenious, you certainly "raised the bar" for creating new forks! Every inch of that bike is going to stand out.

Finally got the forks painted. Now I need to create a bracket to mount the seat. The rest is just some simple stuff like pedals and handlebars.
