Boardtraker seat pan?

I've seen a lot of metal seat pans on boardtracker-inspired bikes, and I was wondering if there's an easy way to make a decent-looking one that doesn't involve a metal shop and custom fabrication.

Do people just cut/bend an old banana seat pan, or other similar trick?

If anyone has made such a pan, please educate me.

I've made son dual seat pans using two plywood forms with rounded edges you sandwich the steel between the shape form the one with the vise cleat and the smaller clamp (top) form . Just work around the edge with a ball pein hammer . Foe the dual pans I made the inter one first added another sheet over that on then form it over the bottom pan. Perfect fit! The curve and butt dents are done off the form on a HF shot bag using a HF poly pear shaped hammer

Some vinyl covered seats turn out pretty decent after you ditch the covers and the padding... painted this one white, then red, then flat black. Then I buffed thru it in a few places so it looks worn....

The pan from a Schwinn exerciser bike, has nice rear springs too...
