bobbing question

how do you go about bobbing a rear fender
just cut it?
and can i see some pictures of finished bikes with them bobbed if at al possible?!?!

I bob my fenders first by cutting them straight across a little longer than they need to be,then trace the curve edge from the piece I just cut off.

good idea....Ive used a dremmel with a cutoff wheel

backwards front fender is your best bet
but a portable bandsaw is your best friend
all my fenders are bobbed so far w/ no fronts

When I cut a harley fender I use a sawzall to cut basic length, then lay a tape line down for final shape. Cut again close to tape, and finish shape with die grinder.

man all i was gonna do is take a pair of hand steel cutters and then take a ball peen hammer and a vise and pound a lip on itt and grind it smooth
