What bike frame is this? I really dig this bike!

It's a Budnitz Alpha, designed by Paul Budnitz up in VT. His business went under last year during the pandemic and another VT company, Cool Planet Bikes, bought up his remaining inventory. Last I saw they had one large and one medium frame left. Mine is a large (20" seat tube).

Better. Just a short spin around the neighborhood tells me the Terry Liberator Y will be more comfortable than the Brooks Cambium.

Your rear rack: did you mount it the other way round on purpose? I had that same rack a while ago, but the other way round

Yep. It was the easiest and most rigid way I could come up with for mounting it on this frame. It had a set of chromed cantilever arms, but I'm not crazy about how they look.
