I made the front fender using a rear one and modifying it, it wouldn`t fit between the forks so I had to cut it out and recess the area where the forks go. I hope it will fit, I haven`t tried it yet.
I started buiding a form for the toolbox under the seat today, I will have to fiberglass it and assemble inside the frame in several pieces, I want to put a door in it later also. I also did some work on the front fender, I will have to fix the defects, sand it and paint it,
but before all that I will need to try it on the bike to see if it fits very well.
Here is the tank I am using for a model for my warbonnett build, it is a 1937 hiawatha tank. I am reworking my front fender for a better fit between the forks.
Got the toolbox fiberglassed, I made it smaller so I could make it in just two pieces, the box and the door I will have to cut in it, hopefully I will be able to get it inside the frame a fastened when finished without scuffing it up, it is a tight fit already.
I sure am going to try, I am building two bikes, the elginator in class 1 and this one, the elginator is getting close so I hope to get them both done in time, but time is slipping away.
I got the fenders painted and got some whitewall tire paint for my tires, the paint I had on them turned yellow and looked awful, so maybe this stuff will stay white.
Speedway motors is helping me my tank cover with cardboard, I have a shape I like made with cardboard and bondo, I will make a mold off of it and make a glass tank cover.
