Has anyone built an out and out cafe style bike? ive looked and i havent seen anything on here really about them. that would be a cool build off.

Some of the board-trackers here are pretty similar to the cafe style. I'm with you man. I'd love to see a cafe build off here just to see what these maniacs come up with.

I think that karfer67's Higgins is a good example of cafe bike, and that was done a long time back, I think that he was the one who started that style

Yeah, i know about karfers bike. I dont think it would be too hard of a build off. lots of nanner seats im sure haha.

what is stopping you from building one if it is so easy, let's see what you can do. Don't need a build off to build a bike, waiting to see yours hi-roller

with all those nanner seats out there, should be easy for ya too build. i know ya don't need a buildoff but since we are haveing one i 'd like to see what ya can do. a cafe rat. go for it

if ya had a cafe racer build off, i think you'd end up with alot of board track racers with cafe seats :)

Haha sorry, i meant to put just "build." And im in the parts gathering process right now. i got a shock fork from a roadmaster mtb, large motorcycle style head light, 20 murray fast back style frame, whizzer tank, and low rise clubman bars. still need a seat.

A cafe racer bicycle would be a cool design, but getting the right leg reach and arm to leg clearance would be tricky. You dont want to be kneeing yourself in the chest when you pedal.
