Calling All Cincinnati Rat Riders!!! August 20th Parade

Our group has been asked to participate in the Mason Ohio Heritage & Bicycle Festival Parade!

It is on Saturday August 20th at 10AM. After the parade there will be tons of activities and a 9 mile bicycle scavenger hunt through the city if you choose to participate. If you do the scavenger hunt, you will be entered into a drawing for a brand new Trek bicycle. This is the first year the festival will have a bicycle theme since the 1970's

So, if you are able to bring a cool ride and participate in representing our group, please send me a message so I can get an accurate count for the parade registration form. Once I get a list together we can set up a meeting time and place in the Mason area.

Great! So far it looks like we have about 20 people. But we need more, so tell all yor friends with cool bikes.

I went and spoke with the parade coordinator and it looks like they want us there around 8:00 am to get organized for the parade lineup. I should have more details soon.

Parade information: Staging is at Mason Municipal Center (5950 South Mason Montgomery Road, Mason, OH 45040) starting at 7 a.m. Everyone must be in place in the staging area by 9 a.m. That may seem early, but it takes that much time with 2500 people to put in place.

REMINDER WITH NEW INFO-- The parade is this Saturday!!!

Parade staging will begin at 7:00am. We must be in position no later than 8:30am.

The Community Center will be providing a light breakfast to all parade participants

The parade will be organized by color sections: Red, Blue and Green. Our Group is 41 Blue

******IMPORTANT PARKING INFO*****
We are all required to park at the Mason Intermediate School parking lot located at 6307 Mason-Montgomery Rd, Mason, OH 45040
There will be a shuttle running to the parade staging area near the municipal building, but we can just ride our bikes. It is only 0.2 miles north on Mason Montgomery Rd.
