can anyone identify this frame

i just picked up this frame from a neighbor that was going to throw it away and i was wondering if anyone knew what kind it is.

looks like a murray eliminator ..or something like that ...one of those muscle bikes ....free is always good to boot !!

yeah the neighbor had atleast 13 frames some were schwinn and some looked like this and he gave me all of them

yep murray built frame could have been branded by several retailers...here's one I resurected last spring badged as a formost swinger and
sold at jc penney stores... the bikes frame desighn ran from the mid sixties through the mid seventies.

i think it might just give you a little inspiration for your build.

I would say a Ross Apollo for sure.the rear dropouts are more Ross than Murray.

SWEET SCORE !!! Why can't I find stuff like that? Only thing I've found was a broken '87 Schwinn predator frame, thinking of grafting the chain-stays (built in standing peg design) into my beach cruiser project.
