Cannondale Airport Plus

I bought a Cannondale Airport Plus bike pump today. It says it's for two type valve stems. I'm planning a ride with a friend monday and he said he has special valve stems that need an adapter. I thought I'd bring my pump in my truck.

Does someone know how to use my pump on different stems. The bike guy said just "flip" it for this one or that one. I don't see the "flipper".

I only see the "flipper" you use to seal it to the stem. On my pump, not this model there are two holes. the big one is for schrader (like a car) and the little one is for presta (probably the special one she's talking about).

I have seen hand pumps that work for either, basically a presta just goes inside further than a schrader before you seal it with the flipper.

Can you unscrew the cap looking thing on the pump where it attaches to the valve stem? If so inside there you flip around that piece then screw cap back on.

I had it unscrewed. There is a plastic piece and a rubber piece. I'll check after work to see if I can flip it.

Flip makes more sense now. Thanks
